Obituary

ALLEN WAYNE CLATWORTHY
(September 27, 1943 - January 30, 2016)



ALLEN WAYNE CLATWORTHY, 72, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Warren officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born September 27, 1943 in Kathryn, W.Va. a son of the late John William and Clorie Alice Martin Clatworthy. He was also preceded in death by a son, Brent Wayne Clatworthy; one brother, Daniel Clatworthy; and three sisters, Margaret Clatworthy, Dorothy Miller and Jessie Martin. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during Vietnam and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Grant Clatworthy; one daughter, Tammie Leigh Sutphin and her husband Darren of Barboursville; two sons, Robert Clatworthy and his wife Andrea of Proctorville, Ohio and Christopher Clatworthy of Huntington; two sisters, his twin, Alice Adkins and her husband Bob of Proctorville, Ohio and Jane Fletcher of Huntington; four grandchildren, Nakita Taylor, Jeffrey Clatworthy, Kayln Clatworthy and Lindsie Clatworthy; and four great grandchildren, Kyra and Jaiden Taylor, Rylee Clatworthy and Natalie Sellards. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
