Etta Mae Parsons
(June 21, 1923 - January 30, 2016)


Etta Mae Parsons, 92, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She was born June 21, 1923 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Maxwell McCallister. She is also preceded in death by her husband Pete Parsons; four children; three brothers, Herman, Milo and Tom and three sisters, Hester, Mary and Marjorie. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Terry Swartz; one grandson Ty Matthew Swartz (Christina Ward) and her little dog, Molly. The family would like to thank Tony and Ruby Mae Schneider and their family for all they did and a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Huntington. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Rev. James Bolen officiating.
