JOHN S. HALL Jr.
(July 23, 1927 - January 27, 2016)


JOHN S. HALL JR., 88, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Steve Hamrick and Rev. Keith Leap. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 139, Milton. Masonic services will be conducted by Western Star #11 A.F. & A.M., Guyandotte. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born July 23, 1927, in Guyandotte, W.Va., a son of the late John S. Hall Sr. and Eugenia Wigal Hall. He was a member of Community of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a retired Inco Foreman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Western Star #11 A. F. & A.M., Guyandotte and Huntington Shriners. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Hall, one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ann and Jackie Cook of Hewett, W.Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, John Douglas and Nancy Hall of Huntington; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Joan Hall of Delaware; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
