Fred Clark Brothers
(April 25, 1919 - July 12, 2009)



Fred Clark Brothers, 90, of Barboursville, WV. died Sunday July 12, 2009 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10:30 AM Tuesday July 14, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima by Father Jim Sobus. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Fred was born April 25, 1919 in Covington, Ky., a son of the late Farris & Elizabeth Trumbo Brothers. He was retired from the Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima, Life member of BPOE 313, & the Paw Taw Square Dance Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Brothers & stepmother Neoma Brothers. Survivors include 2 daughters, Nettie Emerick & husband Edmond of Jacksonville, Fl., Stella (Betsy) Brothers of Cincinnati, OH., 1 son Riley C. Brothers & wife Kathleen of St. Albans, WV., 2 sisters Bernice Beckham & Jennifer Brothers & 1 brother Michael Brothers all of Covington, Ky., 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren & 6 step grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington or the charity of ones choice. Friends may call at the church after 9:00 AM on Tuesday until service time. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
