Dorsie Pridemore Simpson Hall
(April 27, 1927 - July 2, 2009)


Dorsie Pridemore Simpson Hall, 82, of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Thursday July2, 2009 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 6, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. She was born April 27, 1927, in Chapmanville, WV, a daughter of the late William C. and Maude Butcher Pridemore. Four sisters, five brothers and a great-granddaughter, Kelsey Kuhn also preceded her in death. She retired from the former Owens Illinois Glass Company as a shift foreman with over 45 years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1064, and the Glass and Bottle Blowers Association. Survivors include; two daughters, Deborah L. Hudson and husband Dale L. Hudson of Lexington, NC, Donna G. Finley of Chesapeake, Ohio; one son, David A. Hall of Lesage, WV; five grandchildren, Craig Hudson, Cathy and Michael Kuhn, Steward and Angela Deering, David C. Hall and Hannah G. Finley; five great-grandchildren and a special niece, Joyce Adkins of Barboursville.
