Obituary



Vernon Charles "Toby" Albrecht, 75, of Huntington, went to be with our Lord, Monday, September 28, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born April 29, 1940, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Clarence Anthony and Mary Charlene Welker Albrecht. The mother of his children, Judy Elizabeth Chapman Albrecht also preceded him in death on September 1, 2015. He retired from Special Metals having been an industrial mechanic, and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Toby was a member of Grace Gospel Church, and the motorcycle club, G.W.R.R.A. Chapter H3, Proctorville, OH. Survivors include his three daughters, Kimberly Dawn Williams and husband, Bart, of Tega Cay, SC, Kelly Rena Schuman and husband David, of South Point, OH, and Katherine Lynn Cyrus and special long standing friend, Billy Radig of Kenova; a son, Mark Anthony Albrecht and wife Danika of Columbia, SC; seven grandsons, which will serve as pallbearers, Brandon Williams, Benjamin Williams, Zachary Albrecht, Nick Palumbo, Tyler Cyrus, Trevor Cyrus, and Parker Albrecht; two great grandsons, Braxton Williams and Rylan Albrecht; two sisters, Barbara Jean "DeeDee" Moores of Huntington , and Gayle Riggs of Kenova. Viewing will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. The family wishes donations be made American Kidney Foundation.
