Edgar Wendell Copley, 92, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Huntington, passed away Monday September 21, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday September 25, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pat Collier officiating. Entombment will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Edgar was born August 3, 1923 in McCarr, KY, a son of the late Niebert Ezra and Myrtle Browning Copley. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps WWII veteran and retired from the Veterans Administration as an assistant adjudicator. He was preceded in death by his wife Rena Mary Copley, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include two daughters, M. Sandra Copley of Prichard, WV, Judy E. (James L.) Forbush of Barboursville, one son, David W. (Margie) Copley of Huntington, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday September 24, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary.
