John L. Sellards, 82, of Huntington, husband of Rose Maxine Sellards, died Sunday, August 2, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born July 7, 1938 in Rockhouse, KY, a son of the late Tom and Mary Thompson Sellards. John also had two daughters, Debra Spencer and Delores Wood; a grandson, John Edward Sellards; two sisters, Gladys Price and Dorothy Sellards; and two brothers, Bill Sellards and Thomas Sellards, precede him in death. He was retired from Service Warehouse. In addition to his wife, Rose, survivors include, a daughter, Martha Sellards of Huntington; a son, Danny Sellards and his wife, Carla Price, of Huntington; grandchildren, Jennifer and Rosie, and great grandson, Thomas. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday at the White Chapel Mausoleum with Pastor Fred Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit with family after 1:30 pm Thursday at the cemetery.
