Marrian Adaline Adkins, 75, of Salt Rock, WV, wife of Howard Adkins, died Wednesday December 2, 2020 at her residence. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Marrian was born May 20, 1945 in Oak Hill, WV, a daughter of the late Everett and Rachael Braggs Gillihue. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ison and a grandson, Chris Strahan. Additional survivors include one son, Charles Strahan of Woodlands, TX, one daughter, Tracy Hampton of North Caroline, two sisters, Swanda Hickman, Sandy Hook, KY, Brenda Angelo, Columbus, one brother, Darrell Gillihue of Grayson, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank their friends and neighbors, Opal and Nancy Jones and Bud and Chrissy Eastham for all their help. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
