Norman William Niemeyer, 89, of Barboursville, husband of Alice Burger Niemeyer, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 in St. Mary' Medical Center. Born July 25, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late William Norman and Irene Dunlap Niemeyer. Two granddaughters Michelle Gallegos and Laura Niemeyer also preceded him in death. He was a retired Civil Engineer being self-employed in later years . Survivors in addition to his wife include; two daughters, Karen Gallegos of Barboursville, and Mary Perkins of Melbourne, FL, and a son Bill Niemeyer also of Melbourne, FL; one sister, Marilyn Jones; 6 grandchildren, David Gallegos, Sarah Bettis, Kelsey Perkins, Nicholas Perkins, Deborah Niemeyer and Allison Niemeyer; 4 great grandchildren, Andrew Gallegos, Michelle Bettis, Sam Gallegos and Carina Gallegos. No services are scheduled at this time. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
