Betty Leigh Fulton


Betty Leigh Kitchen Fulton, 95, of Culloden, WV, passed away, Monday October 5, 2020 at Cabell Health Care Center. Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday October 8, 2020 at Apostolic Life Cathedral (350 Staunton St) with Bishop Edwin S. Harper officiating. Committal service will be at Woodmere Memorial Park 10:00 AM Friday October 9, 2020. Betty was born December 10, 1924 in Webbville, KY a daughter of the late Albert F. and Amelia Perkins Kitchen. She was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral since 1954, former member of the Cabell County Democratic Executive Committee and former member of the Huntington City Council. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William O. Fulton, an infant son, Terry Lee Fulton, seven sisters, Madge Stewart, Nancy Evelyn Stewart, Blanche Perkins, Maude Ross, Clara Hensley, Avis Holley and Rosemary Hartley, seven brothers, Melvin, Leonard, Levi, Jerry, Martin, Greene, and Joe Kitchen and a stepson, William O. "Billy" Fulton, Jr. Survivors include, one stepdaughter, Nancy Krezminiki of Cleveland, OH and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday at the church. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
