Calvin Marcum,
92, of
Huntington, passed away Sunday, October 26,
2008 in St. Mary’s
Medical
Center.
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 28, 2008
at Heck Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerome Matt officiating.
Burial will follow in
Forest
Memorial Park,
Milton. He
was born June 24, 1916 in
Inez,
KY, a son of the late John
Hennan and Rhoda Rose Marcum. He was also preceded in
death by his wife, Edna Marcum; sister, Polly Taylor; brother, Golden
Marcum. He was an auto mechanic for 40 years, and had
been retired for 30 years. He was an avid flea marketer
and loved to ride his bike. He is survived by his son,
Paul Marcum and daughter, Fay Jones both of Columbus, OH; two step children,
Betty Reffitt of Ona and Anthony Hensley of Columbus, OH; sister, Rebecca
Taylor of Huntington; nine grandchildren, great
grandchildren, Misty Sowards, Pamela Pullen, Christopher Runyon, David Rose,
and a host of others out of town all of whom provided him with great joy in
his later years; several great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Heck Funeral Home.
