Obituary

Loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Gladys Irene Wallace, 85, of Glenwood, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington.  Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Max Spurlock officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenbottom Memorial Park, Lesage.  She was born November 3, 1922 in Cabell Co., WV a daughter of the late Hibert, Sr. and Ida Mae Blake Wallace.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Nelson Edmonds; five brothers and five sisters.  She was a member of Glenwood Methodist Church.  She loved her Lord and her family and will be missed by all she leaves behind.  She is survived by her daughter, Teresa  and Larry Wray of Glenwood; her granddaughter, Amy Beth Wray of Glenwood; three sisters, Winnie Trent and Belva Oldaker both of Glenwood and Alberta Watts of Lesage; special granddaughter, Kami Anderson; several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday October 7, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home.
