Rex B. Carson
 October 23, 1921 - August 10, 2010

Rex Blakely Carson, 88, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Putnam Care and Rehabilitation Center, Hurricane. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Friday, August 13, 2010 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville with Rev. James David Easter officiating. He was born October 23, 1921 in Cabell Co., WV a son of the late Maxwell and Elsie Clark Carson. He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry; brother, William Carson. He was a retired quality control analyst with Union Carbide and a retired farmer. He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Lebanon Lodge 68, AF & AM, Milton. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lillian Carson; a son, Jerry and Patricia Carson of Cross Lanes; a daughter, Sandra and Tim Easter of Milton; brother, Donovan Carson of Lesage; sister, Genevieve and Brett Smith of Ona; grandchildren, Amanda Hoops, Christina Bush, Michael Carson; special grandson, Brian Carson; five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Donations may also be made to Hospice of Huntington, P.O. Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709.
