Lelah I. Coffindaffer
May 27, 1919 - August 11, 2010

Lelah I. Coffindaffer, 91, of Culloden, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in Bowers Hospice House, Beckley. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born May 27, 1919 in Roane Co., WV a daughter of the late Earl and Lona Shaffer Foster. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C. Basil Coffindaffer; two sons, Matthew and Russell Coffindaffer; brother, Coy Foster. She was a graduate of Milton High School and a former interior decorator for 47 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 149, Milton. A member of Order of the Amaranth, White Shrine, and Order of Pythian Sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Dawson of Culloden, Misha and Mark McDonie of Maxwelton, WV; granddaughters, Cheri “CJ” and Michael Wiley of Salt Rock and Ashley Coffindaffer of Laurel, MD; grandson, Jamie L. Peters of Idaho; honorary grandson, Zachary Townsend; great grandson, Randall White of Salt Rock. Those who wish may make donations to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM on Saturday, August 14, 2010 prior to the service at Heck Funeral Home. Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 2:30 PM.
