Mary Lou Hardesty Edmonds, loving wife and mother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 26, 2010. She was born July 16, 1940 in Cabell County, WV and made her home in Glenwood. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Donnie Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Vinton “Arnold” Edmonds; her children, Teresa (Jack) Massie, Alice Mount and Vinton Allen Edmonds, all of Glenwood, WV and Freda (David) Washington of Ona. She had nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren whom she loved very much, and she was especially close to her great granddaughter, MacKenzie Mount who always took special care of her mawmaw. She is also survived by her sisters, Ollie Faye Henry of Milton and Helen Mount of Lancaster, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom E. and Lillian Hagley Hardesty; a brother, Lonnie Hardesty and one sister, Delores Jean Hardesty. Mrs. Edmonds was a member of Union Ridge Chapel Church . She is loved and will be missed by all she touched. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home.
