Beulah Mae Short, 80, of Lesage, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 Am, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in Greenbottom Memorial Park, Lesage. She was born August 25, 1930 in Cabell Co., WV, a daughter of the late Ethel Clary. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Stephen and Larry Allen Short. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Oscar D. Short; two sons, Ivan Eugene Short of Lesage and Jerry “Jesse” and Annetta Short of Glenwood; one daughter, Judy Faye Murphy of Milton; seven grandchildren, Tamatha Dawn Short, Angela Nicole Short, Ivan Matthew Short, Ashley Marie Short, Jessetta Mae Short, Jeoffrey Allen Short, and Alisha Michele Murphy; three great grandchildren, Megan Miles, Harley Short, and Thomas Jeoffrey Short. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, August 27, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
