PATTI JO ADKINS
(April 21, 1943 - September 2, 2009)

PATTI JO ADKINS, 66, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. She was born April 21, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late George and Alice Alterdice Alleman. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the HENSON MORTUARY, BARBOURSVILLE with the Rev. Jerry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Those serving as Pallbearers are, John Paul Freeman, Gary Freeman, David Setzer, Jack Lively, Gordon Merry and Steve Minor. She was a retired CIA Officer where she worked for 20 years. She served in Latin America and Europe. She was also a volunteer at St. Mary's Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, James L. Adkins; two sons, Timothy Christopher Adkins, and Andrew Patrick Adkins; three stepchildren, Scott and Stuart Adkins, of Hampton, VA; Sandra Radford, of Huntington. two sisters, Carole Forsythe, of New Jersey; Roberta Sweet of Chicago, IL.; one brother, Thomas Alleman, Virginia Beach, VA. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. at the Henson Mortuary.
