EULAH EUGENE BURGESS, SR.
(July 7, 1926 - October 25, 2011)

EULAH EUGENE BURGESS SR., 85, of Barboursville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 25 2011 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington.  He was born July 7, 1926 in Isaban, WV, the son of the late Elva A. and Dora Miller Burgess. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Zida Lester and two brothers, Clinton and Ellis Burgess. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Gravely Burgess; one son, Eulah “Eugene” Burgess, Jr. of Titisville, FL and one daughter, Linda Arnold of Hurricane, WV. He was Methodist by faith and was a U.S. Army WW II. Veteran Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, W.Va. with Dr. John Sauvage officiating.  There is no visitation. Arrangements at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville.
