CHARLES E. JEFFERSON
(May 31, 1933 - October 5, 2011)

Charles E. Jefferson, 78 of Huntington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born May 31, 1933 in Huntington, WV,  the son of the late Harry and Grace (Murdock) Jefferson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Emmazetta W. Jefferson in 2010. He worked as retired Civil Engineer with the U.S. Government, a U.S. Army Veteran and was Methodist by faith. He is survived by his daughter, Katherine E. Jefferson of Huntington, WV; one sister, Barbara Jefferson Leadmon of Portsmouth, VA. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion in Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time on Tuesday at the cemetery.
