A. DAVID SAUNDERS
(January 9, 1933 - October 31, 2011)

A. David Saunders, 78, of Huntington, passed away on October 31, 2011 at his residence.  He was born January 9, 1933, a son of the late Marvin Saunders and Hazel and Ran Sprouse.   He was a retired employee of BASF. David was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Patsy Adkins Saunders, and a nephew, Scott Sprouse. He is survived by two daughters, Tina Kraft and her husband Fred, of Montgomery, Texas, and Patrice Daniel and her husband Jim, of Huntington, and his brother Bruce Sprouse and wife Beth of Huntington.   He also leaves behind beloved grandchildren, Joseph Kraft of Atlanta, Caroline Kraft of Chicago, Catherine Daniel of Washington, D.C., and J.D. Daniel of Huntington. Additional survivors include an uncle, Dud Covington of Florida, niece Leigh Anne Bokone of Wheeling, and nephew Ronald (Patricia) Jeffrey of Barboursville. Others that David has so dearly loved are Bill and Joyce Frazier, Ruth and Jim Daniel, Evelyn and Mike Blevins, Edna Skeens and Tim Easterling, and the congregation of Central Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Nov.4, at Central Christian Church, Fifth Avenue, Huntington, at 11:00, by the Revs. Monty Brown and Kevin Snow.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance Chapel. Please remember our father, David, as a humble, unassuming man who lived to serve the Lord and others. In lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be directed to Central Christian Church.
