BETTY LOU CANNON
(October 19, 1927 - April 20, 2015)



Betty Lou Cannon, 87 of Barboursville, W.Va. passed away, Monday, April 20, 2015 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va.  She was born October 19, 1927 in Huntington, W.Va the daughter of the late, Anthony and Leota Halsey Eary. She was a retired cashier from Evans Supermarkets and a member of Reclaim Wesleyan Church in Barboursville.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John M. Cannon and her son-in-law, Donald Adams. She is survived by two daughters, Paula Adams and Barbara (Tom) Sanders all of Barboursville, W.Va; her companion of 42 years, Daryl Elwood Childers of Barboursville, W.Va; six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. with Pastor Corey Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Friday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thanks special caregivers, Marilyn McComas and Josie Turner. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
