BETTY JO KIMBLE
(February 5, 1929 - April 3, 2015)

Betty Jo Sommerville Kimble 86 of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born, February 5, 1929 in Shepherdstown, W.Va the daughter of the late, Howard Hoy and Ruth Elizabeth McDowell Sommerville. She was a retired bookkeeper with the Tri-State Airport Authority and was Presbyterian by faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-two years, George Carrol Kimble and one sister, Mary Frances Harman. She is survived by one sister, Ruth Ann Townsend of Barboursville, W.Va. and brother and sister-in-law, William H. (Freda) Sommerville of Barboursville, W.Va; several nieces’ nephews and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Abbey of Devotion Mausoleum, Huntington, W.Va. with Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. is caring for the family. Burial will follow the services. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM on Monday at the cemetery.
