DOROTHY HENSON
(March 18, 1935 - April 29, 2015)

Dorothy Louise Henson, 80 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. She was born March 18, 1935 daughter of the late John Oakey and Effie Isadore Smith Hutchison.  She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Proctorville, OH. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband in 2005, Fred Henson, Jr., one son, William Clayton Henson, one sister and four brothers. She is survived two daughters, Barbara Walters of Chesapeake, OH and Teresa Brumfield of Huntington, W.Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Deborah Henson of Loveland, CO; one sister, Judith (Randy) Warner of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Daphene Lynn Smith, Donald Lee Brumfield, Jennifer Walters, Joshua (Kortney) Walters, Jasmine Henson, Wesley Henson and Natalie Henson; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. with Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the mortuary.
