Virgil Eugene Jarrell, 72 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born February 2, 1949 the son of the late, Robert Paul and Lillian Reffitt Jarrell. He was a retired Steel Worker with Cardinal Steel, a member of First Baptist Church, Guyandotte and was a U.S. Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Eugene Jarrell and a brother, Larry Jarrell. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Sue (Estep) Jarrell of Huntington, WV; one son, Keith Allen Jarrell (Donna Jean) of Pedro, OH and one daughter, Julie Ann Parsons of Huntington, WV; one sister, Vickie Ramey (Rick) of Cartersville, GA and one brother, Mike Jarrell (Carol) of Highpoint, NC; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; his best friend and dog, Duke and a host of fiends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV with Pastor John Duncan officiating. Burial with military graveside honors will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the mortuary.
