Thomas Opie McCormick, 46 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born May 3, 1974 in Huntington, WV the son of Brenda Davis Wells of Huntington, WV and the late, Thomas McCormick. He was formerly employed with the Cabell County DHHR CPS division and also with Greene Acres Regional Center as a social worker. In addition to his mother, Opie is survived by his daughter, Emily Nicole McCormick of Huntington, WV; his sister, Melissa (David) Armentrout of Scott Depot, WV; step-father, Mark Wells of Huntington, WV and a niece and nephew, Morgan Dean and Thomas Booton. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Milton, WV. Burial will follow the services. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the cemetery. Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV is caring for the family.
