Thomas Wilson Wilks, 83, of Gallipolis, OH, passed from this life to his Heavenly Home on December 27, 2020. He was born December 22, 1937 in Proctorville, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wilks and Mary Alletha Wilks, and a brother, Glenn Wilks. He leaves behind his wife Patty Metz Wilks; two sons, Thomas Dean (Angela) Wilks of Stanford, KY and Michael Wilks of Proctorville, OH; two step-daughters, Mary (Buzz) Sarratt of Lexington, KY and Nancy (Terry) Castellow of Wimauma, FL; grandchildren, Andrew and Kaitlynn Wilks; as well as his dog, Barney, whom he loved dearly. He was retired from the USPS, served in the USMC, was a member of the NALC Branch 359, and a life-time member of VFW Post 9738 and the DAV of Huntington, WV. There will be no visitation or services conducted at this time. Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV 25705 is caring for the family.
