Obituary



Thomas Chester Cooper , 73 of Huntington, brother of Juanita Prince, died Friday, February 5th at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services at 2: 30 PM Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial to follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. Tom was born October 9, 1942 in Wayne County, West Virginia the son of the late LeRoy and Marguerite Walker Cooper. He was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church where he attended his whole life. He is survived by his caretaker and sister Juanita Prince and brother-in-law Martin Prince of Huntington; one cousin Donna Clere and two nieces, Linda(Danny) Hughes and Tammy Samson; three great-nieces Renee Samson, Deidre Samson-Jenkins, husband James Jenkins and Stephanie Samson, two great-nephews Daniel (Sara) Hughes and Chris (Kimmie) Hughes as well as, three great great nephews and three great great nieces. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Reger Funeral Home Chapel.
