Obituary



Albert Arthur Webb, 84, of Huntington, WV, beloved husband of Edith Webb passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday at the Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Phillip Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Al was born July 24, 1931 in Ranger, WV, a son of the late James Webb and Esther Spengler Webb. He was a US Army Veteran having served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Al retired from Oglebay Norton Coal Company. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church and had a strong faith in God. Al and Edie were married 61 years. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Otis Nutt, Frank Webb, Richard Webb and Ralph Webb. Additional survivors include his children Frank Webb and his wife Dee of Elkview, WV, Teresa Williams and her husband Les of Huntington, WV and Timothy Webb of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a grandson Jason Webb and his wife Suzie of Roanoke, Virginia and two great grandchildren Nathan Webb and Amelia Webb. Friends may call from 11 am until service time Friday at the Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
