Obituary

WAYNE DARBY
(November 14, 1952 - November 24, 2016)

WAYNE DARBY, 64, of Midkiff, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 24, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Greenbottom Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor David Blake. Burial will be in Fairview Ridge Cemetery, Lesage. He was born November 14, 1952, in Wayne County, a son of the late Allan and Tilda Darby. He was also preceded in death by his loving daughter, Maria Adkins. Wayne had 13 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his loving daughter, Misty and Scott Scarberry; two loving grandchildren, Eva Scarberry and Landon Adkins; son-in-law, Jason Adkins; and good friend, Marcella Nelson. Special thanks to Dr. Silbermins, the Heritage Center and Greenbottom Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Greenbottom Missionary Baptist Church.
