ObituaryLinda Lou (Lusher)
Luff Linda Lou (Lusher) Luff, age 63, of Pataskala, OH, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born in Huntington, W.Va. on Nov. 4, 1953. She attended Barboursville (W.Va.) High School (’68-’70). and graduated from the Cabell Huntington Hospital’s Licensed Practical Nursing program in Huntington, W.Va. She worked in hospitals and long term care facilities for many years before joining Prudential Insurance and later Aetna Insurance as a precertification representative. Linda enjoyed working in her garden, reading and enjoying her family and was a proud member of the DAR. Linda was a passionate advocate for the interests and rights of the deaf and hard of hearing community, as well as for other people who needed someone to stand up for them. Preceded in death by parents, Hilbert and Flossie Lusher, brother, Mike Lusher. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wayne; her children, Joshua (Mizyl) of Punta Gorda, Fla., Ashton (Megan) of Columbus, OH, Patrick (Mandie) of Barboursville, W. Va.; brother, Lloyd (Barbara) Lusher of Gahanna, Oh; and grand-children, Mikayla, Bruce, Fletcher, Abigail and Aubrey; sister-in-law, Kim (Luff) Wakim of Pittsburgh, Pa., and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends 11am-1pm, with services at 1pm, Sat., Nov. 26th at Wallace Funeral Home, 1159 Central Avenue, Barboursville, W. Va. Interment at Forest Memorial Cemetery, 2240 US Route 60 W, Milton, W.Va.
