Roy Lee Nicely
(January 25, 1943 - November 5, 2016)

Roy Lee Nicely, 73, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born January 25, 1943 in Cabell County, a son of the late Basil and Belvie Adkins Nicely. He was preceded in death by his companion, Virginia Nicely, one son, Roy Lee Nicely Jr., and one brother, Glen Nicely. He is survived by three daughters, Tina and Jackie Adkins of Branchland, Terry and Randy Hughes of Milton, and Chasity and Rod Hammond of Huntington; three sons, Tim and Mary Sue Nicely, Troy and Violet Nicely, and Jason Nicely and Rob Chapman of Huntington; two sisters, Joan Bundy and Charlene Adkins, both of Huntington; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
