Obituary

Okey Harrison Gray
(February 20, 1937 - March 6, 2017)

Okey Harrison Gray, 80, of Huntington, was called away by our Heavenly Father March 6, 2017. He was born February 20, 1937, a son of the late Carl Gray and Helen Gibson Gray. In addition he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Griffith and Norma Keefer. He is survived by his wife, Linda; stepsons, Aaron Nida and Vince Blankenship; two step grandsons, Arthur and Ezra Nida; daughter, Lisa Gray and son, Tony Gray; granddaughter, Tonia Gray; great grandson, Luke; brothers, Jerry (Stephanie) Gray, Carl (Pyong) Gray; sisters, Patsy (Bill) Fielding; Joyce (Fred) Tanner; brother-in-law, Joe Keefer. He attended Norwood Free Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gospel singing, hunting, harmonica, sketching and writing poetry. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Norwood Free Methodist Church, Building Fund, 3740 Norwood Road, Huntington, WV, 25705.
