IVORY FRANCES EMMERT
(June 28, 1937 - March 12, 2017)



IVORY FRANCES EMMERT, 79, of Barboursville, passed away March 12, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born June 28, 1937, in Barboursville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Homer A. Perry and Mary Frances Merritt Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. James Richard Emmert; brothers, Eugene Perry, Kenneth Perry, Elvie Perry and Emery Perry; and sisters, Wanda Jackson and Maxine Perry. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Emmert of Barboursville; two sisters, Lillian Joann Ramsey and Leeta Sullivan, both of Huntington; one brother, Robert D. Perry of Huntington; two grandchildren, Sean Emmert and Noah Emmert; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Rod Justice. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Special thanks to Cabell Huntington Hospital Nursing Staff on 5 North for the excellent care they provided to my mother and family.
