Dorothy Rachel Lanham
(July 9, 1938 - March 21, 2015)

DOROTHY RACHEL LANHAM, 78, of Lesage, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with graveside services following at 4 p.m. at Flatwoods Cemetery, Waco, Ky. She was born July 9, 1938, in Waco, Ky., a daughter of the late Wilson Tate and Katie Hunter Cain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lanham. She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Kay and Anthony Short and Donna Lanham, both of Lesage; one son, Charles Lanham Jr. of Lesage; two stepdaughters, Wanda Porter of Lesage and Marsha and Bill Beard of Barboursville; stepson, Roscoe and Martha Lanham of Lesage; seven sisters, Bettie Webb, Irene Willis, Ida Mae Harrison, Vivian Delaney, Evelyn King, Sharon Cain and Oneida Centers; two brothers, Sam Cain and Paul Cain; one grandchild; and five step-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
