BRENDA GAY SMITH
(August 14, 1958 - March 14, 2017)

BRENDA GAY SMITH, 58, of Culloden, W.Va., died Tuesday, March 14, 2017. There will be graveside services at 1 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at Blue Sulphur Cemetery. She was born August 14, 1958, in Hamlin, W.Va., a daughter of Eloise Ruby Keenan Smith of Huntington and the late Virgil Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda Dawn Black. She is survived by one son, Stephen Black Jr.; her soul mate, Stephen "Poppy" Black; three sisters, Dreama Adkins, Wilma Bartram and Tammy Holley; four brothers, Larry Smith, Leon Smith, Melvin Smith and Mike Smith; and two grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Bralynn and Shaniah. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
