Jesus came and took the hand of Nancy Mae Marcum, 70, of Fort Gay, WV, at Cabell Huntington Hospital of Huntington on Tuesday 3, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Friday 6, 2012, at the Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Darrell Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm in Webb’s Cemetery, Crum, WV. She was born June 21, 1941; a daughter of the late Franklin P. Salmons. Brothers Roland and Jarvis Salmons preceded her in death. Survivors include her mother Bertha E. Copley, Fort Gay, WV, son Bruce E. Marcum of Huntington; Daughters and sons-in-law Regina M. and Monty R. Skeen, Given, WV, Dreama K. and William E. McClurg II, Proctorville, Ohio, Sondria L. and David Dobbs, Clifton Forge, Va; four granddaughters, Pamela, Ashley, Lydia and Kyra, one grandson Colton, 3 great – grandchildren, six sisters Shirley, Linda, Betty, Laura, Barbara and Janie, five brothers Frankie, Jesse Timothy (J.T.), Jimmy, Bill and Arbrey. Anyone whose life has been touched by her in the past 70 years will know that her love, encouragement and teaching will be forever engraved in our minds and in our hearts.
