Ervin Ray Stephens
(November 24, 1933 - March 2, 2013)


Ervin Ray Stephens, 79, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Leon, WV, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1933, in Leon, WV a son of the late Irvin “Farmer” Stephens and Ida Opel Rollins Stephens. He was a former steelworker with Buckeye Steel and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include: four sons, David Stephens, Kenneth Stephens, Randall Stephens, and Mark Stephens; two sisters, Edna and Bernice; and two brothers, Walter and Herman. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Highland Cemetery Annex, with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
