Charles Edward Hitchcock
(May 12, 1966 - September 6, 2014)



Charles Edward Hitchcock, 48, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born May 12, 1966 in Huntington, WV a son of Betty VanFaussien Lewis of Huntington and Charles E. Hitchcock of Huntington. He was an abatement worker with Master Mechanics and was known as Huntington’s biggest Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan. In addition to his parents, survivors include: his son, Charles E. “C.J.” Hardwick of Huntington; three sisters, Liz (Stephen) Yost of Huntington, Donna (Larry) Davis of Lavalette, WV, and Sarah (Brian) Sowards of Huntington; two brothers, Hugh (Michelle) Hitchcock of Huntington and David (Andrea) Hitchcock of Crown City, OH; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Amiss Little of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Paul Francke officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
