Virginia Ann Holley
(December 22, 1933 - September 14, 2014)



Mrs. Virginia Ann Holley, 80, of Huntington, widow of James Arnold Holley, passed away Sunday,September 14, 2014, at Huntington Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Rev. James Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, WV. She was a member of the former Highlawn Baptist Church and she was a homemaker and served as a Day Care “Granny”. She was born December 22, 1933 in Huntington, a daughter of the late William Stuart and Zella Edith Groves Bruce. Also preceding her in death are siblings, Reva Kitchen, Pauline Opal Hughes, William Curtis Bruce and Roy G. Bruce and a special niece, Carol Lee Hughes Pieta. Surviving are 3 daughters and spouses; Marsha (Rick) Childers, Jama Sue Foy ( Jeffrey Lee Randolph),, all of Huntington, and Amber Lee (Roger) Holcomb of Trenton, OH; 4 grand children, Kelly Lynn and Doug Triplett, Holly Ann Foy, William Alan and Karen Childers all of Huntington, and Adam Roger Holcomb, of Trenton, OH; a step great grandchild Tristan McDavid, and a host of other family and friends. . Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary.
