Roger Dale Gibson, 68, of Lesage, WV, husband of Denise Bowman Gibson, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017, at home. He retired as a laborer from BASF Wyandotte. Born April 28, 1949 in Huntington, he was the son of the late Everett and Thelma Irene Doss Gibson. Survivors in addition to his wife include: one daughter, Della Marlene Priestley, and one son, Roger Allen Gibson both of Lesage; two sisters, Ruby Gibson of Ohio, and Darlene Bailey (John) of Lesage; one brother Johnny Gibson of IN; 4 grandchildren, Morgan Grace Priestley, Ashton Paige Ferguson, Allison Renee Gibson and Chance James Gibson; and numerous special friends including, Danny Parson, Omar Napier, Genevieve Smith, Raoul and Sheila Bowman, Stacy Nicole Gibson, Samuel E. Priestley, John Boyce, Bub Gibson, Doris and Wesley Morrison, John, Nina, J.T. and Becky Shaffer, Drema K. Gibson, Tony and Jennifer Gibson, Payton Gibson, Straw Boss Gibson, Billy Blake, Kaitlyn Ortega, Wayne and Donna Davis, and Brenda Ketner. There will be no services at this time. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
