Obituary



Reba E. Rankin Prino, 92, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born July 15, 1925 in Whitesville, Boone County, WV a daughter of the late Minte Rankin. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Prino and her faithful companion, Chloe. She was a retired Registered Nurse with St. Mary's Medical Center; was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; and was an avid bowler. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Soletta Hamrick and her husband, Mike of Barboursville, WV; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dominic "Mickey" Prino II and his wife, Nancy Gail and Victor Prino II and his wife, Paige, all of Huntington; seven grandchildren, Katharine Bartrum and her husband, Brook of Russell, KY, Edith Ellen Prino and her husband, Doug Prino of Proctorville, OH, Joseph V. Prino and Joshua Scott Cartwright Prino, both of Huntington, Brett Joseph Hamrick and his wife, Megan of Portland, OR, and Justin Edward Hamrick and Mollie A. Hamrick and her fiancée, Tyler Able, all of Huntington; six great grandchildren, Megan Sue Ann Bartrum, Charles Bartrum, Meredith Bartrum, Celeste Prino, Benjamin Prino, and Ava Prino. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Pallbearers will be Joseph V. Prino, Joshua Scott Cartwright Prino, Justin E. Hamrick, Brook Bartrum, Doug Prino, and Cole Dennison. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00am Friday at Chapman's Mortuary.
