Robert McClellan
(September 16, 1924 - March 20, 2015)



Robert McClellan, 90 of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Graveside at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington by Pastor Kevin West. Burial will follow. Robert was born September 16, 1924 in Cabell County West Virginia a son of the late John Hurston and Sarah Elizabeth Collins McClellan. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Glonda Mary Lea McClellan. He was a retired employee of C & O Railway, a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy, and attended Expression Church of Huntington. Survivors include his wife Linda Ellen Hensley McClellan; two daughters, Karen Sue Muncy and husband Harold (Bill) of Huntington, Laura JoAnne Handley and husband Charley of Wayne, WV, two step-children, Christy McCormick and husband Roger of Huntington, Casey Nichols and wife Angie of Catlettsburg, Ky. He is also survived by grandchildren: Ginger Dawn Fannin of Huntington, Johnny Robert Muncy of Huntington, Lonny William Muncy of Ceredo, WV, Tara Lea Runyon of Huntington, step-grandchildren Tucker McCormick and Cory and Zach Nichols; great –grandchildren: Mitchell Dale Fannin, Zachary William Fannin, Jonathon Michael Muncy, Michelle Lynn Runyon and Brent Runyon all of Huntington; great-great grandchild, Paisley Mae Fannin also of Huntington and a host of other family. Robert was a devoted father and husband and has been a blessing to many. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 23 at Reger Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Expression Church of Huntington 1541 18th Street Huntington, WV 25701. The procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday for the cemetery.
