Obituary

Virginia Maxine Wenclawski
(July 2, 1922 - March 2, 2015)



Virginia “Maxine” Wenclawski, 92 of Huntington, WV, went to meet her Savior on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Heritage Center where she was a resident. Previous to that she was a long time resident of Trowbridge Manor. Maxine was born July 2, 1922 in Shoals, WV to the late Fernando and Ada Snider Brumfield. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Johnny and seven siblings. Maxine was a retired carpenter. She was a member of the 9th Ave. Baptist Temple, Eastern Star Lodge #8, and VFW 1064 Ladies Auxiliary. Maxine was an avid bowler and supporter and member of many senior leagues. Maxine leaves behind a brother in law, Don Wenslow of Wimauma, Fla and five people she considered her surrogate children, Connie Yates, Lois Schneider, Toby Friend, Kelli Dailey and Brittany Brownfield. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Friday March 6th at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour before service time on Friday.
