Obituary



Don Michael Perdue, 47 of Huntington, WV beloved husband, father, and son, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Don was born on August 30, 1970 to Harold and Jaqueline Perdue. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mackey and Patty Akley , Jack Miller and Orville and Louise Windle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Pamela and children Madison Gail, Jordan Grace, and Aiden Michael; sister and brother-in-law Natalie and Tom Bevins, brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Gina Finley and Chris and Sherri Harper; nieces and nephews Whitley and Dakota Stanley; Lacey Bevins, Savannah and Casey Thomas; Will, Ryan and Trey Finley; Drew and Erica Harper. Don was a speech pathologist and rehab director for Genesis Healthcare. He was a member of Buffalo Valley Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher and teen class leader. He previously served as a deacon at Fellowship Baptist church in Barboursville, where he was involved with missionary work in Baltimore and Katrina relief. He loved fishing, music and the Green Bay Packers. He was a wonderful man of God with a true servant’s heart who touched everyone who knew him. He was loved and will be terribly missed but we know we will see him again in Heaven. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, from 6-8 PM at the Reger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, April 23, at 2:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova.
