Obituary



Anna Elizabeth Wren, 89, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Ray Williamson and Pastor Phil Williamson at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Anna was born on July 2, 1928 in Fort Gay, WV to the late Walter and Mollie See Boyd. Anna was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church of Lavalette to which she was very devoted. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wren; a son, Roger Earl Wren; a grandson, Timothy Wren; three brothers; and four sisters. She is survived by her son, Buddy Wren and his wife Judy who was a very loving, caring, and devoted daughter –in-law; daughter Terri Rutherford of Huntington; daughter-in-law, Janice Wren of Lavalette; grandchildren, Rodney (Staci) Wren, Derick (Missy) Wren, Tammy (Wes) Leek, LeAnn Howard, Tina Weiss, Amy Hayton, Jeremy Jessup, Shannon Kemble; fifteen great grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Walk of Lewisburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Tracy and the Staff at Madison Park and Hospice of Huntington for their loving care.
