Obituary

Beulah M. Reynolds, of Huntington, West Virginia went to heaven on April 23, 2018, at Diversicare in Council Grove, Kansas. She was born to Byron and Bertha (Smith) Donahoe on February 28th, 1920, in Logan County West Virginia. She was married to Joe D. Reynolds on October 5, 1940.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Burl, Blanche, Bernice, Dortha Lee, Freida, Murl, Carl, Marjorie, Byron Jr., and Curtis; a grand-daughter Jerri Leigh Reynolds and daughter-in-law Janice Reynolds. She is survived by her three children: Larry B. Reynolds, Sr. of Chester, Virginia, Patty Claypool and her husband Dick of White City, Kansas, and Michael B. Reynolds and his wife Diana of Davidson, North Carolina, seven grand-children, twenty-one great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren, and her sisters Alta Ball of Lake Wales, Florida and Gay Quinn of Zebulon NC. Though small, her home was always open to anyone who came to visit. It was a welcome place, especially for a good country breakfast. She hosted five-day clubs with Child Evangelism Fellowship in her home for twenty-five years. No child left without hearing the love of Jesus and full of cupcakes and ice-cream.  She was very proud that she finished high school and went on to work at Owens-Illinois Glass factory for thirty-six years. She retired in 1985. She loved to sing and read poetry, and she blessed every life that she touched, even to the end of this life. Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain.  A service will be conducted at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington West Virginia on Saturday April 28th, 2018 at 12:00 PM, with a visitation at 11:00, prior to the service. Pastor Larry Greene will be officiating. The committal service will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery; Wayne County, West Virginia; where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.  A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Herington Kansas at a later date.
