Obituary



Frederick H. Robinson, Sr., 86, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11 am by Pastor Ray Williamson and Minister Phil Williamson at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Frederick was born on October 28, 1931 in Accoville, WV to the late Fred and Mary June Trogdon Robinson. He served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired lab technician for Inco, he was a member of the Westmoreland Baptist Church. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was firm in his stand with Almighty God. He was soft spoken, honest, and tender-hearted. His family was always a priority for him. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna Gayheart Robinson; one daughter, Shelly Robinson (Estil) Collins of Chesapeake, OH; one son, Frederick H. (Becky) Robinson, Jr.; four grandchildren, Joey Ward of New Albany, Ind., Josh Haney of Chesapeake, Ohio, Fred H. Robinson III of Clarksville, Tenn., Devan Robinson of Lavalette, W.Va.; and seven great grandchildren.
