Lottie Louise Snider Woody 87 of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Greg Tomlinson; burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Lottie was born September 7, 1930 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late John Snider, and late Maude Mae Gibson Snider Nutter. She was a clerk with Anderson Newcomb for 37 years and a Volunteer for 13 years at the Veterans Hospital Chapel. Her step father Albert Nutter, husband James Woody , son and daughter-in-law Gary Gene and Sherry Pelfrey Woody, son John Alfred Woody, son Larry Dean Woody, brother-in-law Bill Woody and step brother Richard Nutter, also preceded her in death. Lottie was an active member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of God since its inception and taught Sunday School to two generations. Her life was her Family, her God, and her Church. She loved and was loved by all who knew her. Those that survive her include: one brother Glen Flynn Snider, son James R. (Rick) Woody and daughter in law Sandra Woody, daughter Lisa Ann Van Allen and Kim Alley, brother-n-law and wife Melvin and Mary Woody, sister-in-law Rosemary Woody, step sister Margaret Dizon , daughters-in-law Joyce Woody, Diane Woody and Darlene Woody. In addition her grandchildren: Dr. James R. Woody II, Jamie J. Woody ESQ., Kaden R. Clark, John A. (Jay) Woody II, Denee Parsons, Casey Jones and niece Laura and Edward McMullen; 14 great grandchildren and many friends at Jefferson Ave. Church of God and at the Veterans Hospital. Other special people in her life were Brother Farley, and his family, Greg and Millie Tomlinson, and Vickie and Randy Adkins. Visitation will be from 3-5 PM Sunday April 20, 2018 at the Reger Funeral Home.
