Elizabeth Jane Fields Black Adkins
(December 23, 1939 - September 5, 2016)


Elizabeth Jane Fields Black Adkins, 76, of Gray Court, SC, formerly of Huntington, WV went home to Glory to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 5, 2016 in Greenville, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, WV by Rev. Harold Blankenship. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood, WV. She was born December 23, 1939 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil Edward and Wilma Holtzlander Fields. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Black and Gary Adkins, and one brother Paul Fields. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Christine Blankenship of Ashville, OH; step-children, Gary Jo and Misty Adkins, Tina and Michael Owens, Kristie Adkins, and Carrie Adkins of WV; brothers, Charles Fields of Athens, GA, David and Bonnie Fields of Gray Court, SC; grandchildren, Amy and Andy Heimbach of Wheelersburg, OH and their children, Lyndsay and Cooper; Charles and Angela Blankenship of Ashville, OH and their children, Conner, Tyler, and Reece; several nieces and nephews; and many special brothers and sisters in Christ.
